Piston Pumps
Piston pumps are reciprocating-type, positive displacement pumps that move fluid by trapping a fixed amount and forcing it through the discharge port. These pumps are the longest lasting and have the widest variety of configurations and material choices on the market.
Dispense fluid at 50, 100, 250, 500, 1000, 2500, and 5000 microliters (µL)
Precision at full dispense volume: </= 0.5% Cv
Accurate up to 98.5% at volumes greater than 2% of the total dispense volume (In a controlled environment with Distilled Water*)
Full stroke of 0.5 inches (12.7 mm)
Head materials available in Acrylic, PEEK, and Ultem
Piston materials available in TZP ceramic, PEEK, and Ultra material
Expected life up to 5 million cycles (full dispense & aspirate = one cycle)
